Pancakes are one of those dishes that always work and their making does not take much time, so in a crisis situation we can reach for them. Experienced people choose the ingredients “by eye”, but for beginners the recipe can play a trick, so today we have for you a simple and proven recipe for pancakes.
- glass of flour
- glass of milk
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup water (preferably sparkling)
- pinch of salt
- pinch of sugar (for sweet pancakes you can add vanilla sugar)
- 3 tablespoons butter or vegetable oil (coconut or rice oil works well)
Pour the flour into a bowl. Add eggs, milk, water, salt and sugar and mix until smooth. Then add melted butter or oil and mix again. You can let the dough rest for about 20 minutes, then it will have perfect consistency, but it is not necessary
Pour the ready batter onto a well heated frying pan (preferably a pancake pan). Fry on each side until golden brown. And voilà! Enjoy.
