The warmer months are about to arrive and so will the start of the balcony season. Now is the time to prepare your balcony for spring-summer relaxation!
No matter what size it is, we can turn our balcony into a true oasis and relaxation zone. Here are some ways to give your balcony a makeover.
We’re starting with the basics, so first focus on your balcony floor – perhaps it needs a refresh? An increasingly popular solution are modular wooden floors, which you can easily install yourself. Wooden flooring on the balcony will give the impression of coziness and warmth, as opposed to cool tiles.

To add some charm to the balcony railing, we can cover it with a bamboo mat. This way we’ll also gain a bit of privacy on our balcony. Another solution is to use openwork walls, which can be attached to the inside of the balustrade – they will cover it a bit and add charm to the space. In addition, we can decorate the balcony with a garland of light.
In the spring and summer season can not miss the colorful flowers on the balcony. Beautifully decorate the balcony and have a positive effect on the atmosphere. Already in early spring we can plant species such as pansies, daisies, primulas, or daffodils. Flowers on the balcony should be placed at different heights – some on the floor, others in hanging pots and on shelves that will further decorate the space.
Even if your balcony isn’t very large, a comfortable lounger or armchair will do the trick! The important thing is that it’s a piece of furniture that we can actually relax on – so it should be comfortable. You can also add some decorative pillows and a blanket for cooler evenings.
